Riverside County Department of Child Support Services
Community Outreach

The volunteers working in our Outreach program are the face of Riverside County Department of Child Support Services. Outreach efforts allow our community to see us in a different light. We are present at the events to assist our community and its families.
  • Purpose is to enhance the visibility of our department within the community.
  • Answer any general questions from the community regarding child support.
  • Provide those at the events a means to contact our office with specific questions concerning their case.
  • Interact with the community to build a friendly, working rapport.
  • To educate the public about our agency and the ways we can assist them.
Riverside Child Support Services currently has three (3) outreach categories within their outreach program: Parole and Community Team (PACT), Teen Outreach Program (TOP), and Community Outreach. Community outreach events are family focused, so this provides DCSS with an opportunity to present a warm and friendly image to families and children. The events are very interactive with all that attend. DCSS has a table with information pamphlets and booklets, and provides crafts for the children while visiting our table. These events are community based such as health fairs and resource fairs.

As a part of our community outreach program our office is available to participate, free of charge, in local exhibitions, fairs, and television and radio talk shows, etc., to further publicize the availability of services. For further information on these services, contact our Community Outreach Coordinator at 951-955-5841

Community Events

Visit our Child Support Awareness booth at the following free community events: Representatives will be available to answer questions about child support and provide informational pamphlets/brochures. You can also complete a Case Status Request form which will be returned to the case worker asking for contact with you to discuss the issue further. We will have a fun activity to keep children busy while we assist you and answer your questions.
